Almost 6 weeks

Hi there! Here we are! Below are some of our favorite pictures over the last month or so. Everything is going well. Ava is sleeping much better now, some nights even 7 or 8 hours. The usual though is about 4-5 hours and we are up once for a feeding and diaper change. She is growing and growing. We have a check up on Tuesday so we will find out new stats. Grandma and Grandpa Messner are back in New York now. Grandma and Grandpa Tosto have visited as well as Uncle Chris. We went to our first birthday party on July 25 for Uncle Sam. Ava was exhausted after all of the excited and attention! The newest photos are first with the oldest ones last. We hope you enjoy!

Hi there! Well as you can imagine the last few weeks have been crazy! We came home from the hospital on June 18 and the first thought when we walked through the door was "Where are the nurses to help us?" :0) The first few nights weren't too bad and then the real "sleepless in Englewood" scenario kicked in. Ava had her days and nights confused so needless to say Mommy was pacing the house trying to settle Ava and get her to get some sleep at night. It is getting much better now! She has some trouble settling down but once she does fall asleep she sleeps for 3 and 4 hours stretches during the night. She is growing and she is so fun to watch and interact with. She really follows us with her eyes and seems to be giving us smiles of recognition. We are enjoying every moment with her!! Grandma and Grandpa Messner have been a great help and are loving spending time with their first granddaughter. We have had a few visitors, Uncle Sam and Danielle, our neighbors and Chetta. One of my friends from school who is due at the beginning of August is going to visit today and Uncle Billy and Jill will be down in August for a visit. Mostly, right now we are busy changing diapers, feeding and sleeping. Check out some of our photos below.
