No we didn't fall into the Gulf!

Hey everyone! You probably think we were lost or had fallen into the Gulf of Mexico! We have been so busy. The only time to get much done is during Ava's naps or after she goes to bed and then I have to decide which of the multitude of tasks I want to tackle first! We are having a blast! To update you, we traveled up North for Christmas. It was fantastic to see everyone. Ava was able to meet her Great Grandma Messner, her cousin Abie and many great aunts and uncles for the first time. She traveled fairly well but it was definitely a lot of work!! Christmas was a ton of fun. Ava loved all of her new toys and clothes. (Mommy had a lot of fun shopping!)

Ava went for her 6 month check up (at actually 7 months due to Drs. vacations) and weighed in at 17 pounds with a length of 26 inches. Now at 7 1/2 months she is able to sit up on her own, occassionally pull herself up into sitting position and today she offically crawled for the first time! I am fairly sure there will be a tooth in the near future as well....time will tell. Below are just a few of the many pictures we have of Ava. We hope you all enjoy!
